Our minimum order amount is $16. Due to the steadily rising cost of mailing packages in this country, we must now charge you $7.00 shipping for each order we send.
We are no longer setting a limit on the amount of any one cultivar that a customer may order. Our ability to fill your orders is, of course, still limited by the amount of garlic we have to sell. Please call for pricing on larger quantities.
All orders should be mailed to us using the order form supplied and must be accompanied by your check or money order made payable to Garlicsmiths. We are not set up to accept payment by credit card.
All of our garlic is reserved and shipped according to the date your order is received: first come, first served. Please order early to be sure of getting the garlic cultivars you want. Sometimes we have sold out of a cultivar you have ordered: if you check “Yes substitute” on your order form, we will send you a very similar cultivar in its place ( you can indicate your preferred substitute on the order form and we will send it if we have it in stock). If you check “ No substitute”, we will send you a refund check for that cultivar.
We begin shipping our garlic in mid - September, starting with the orders which we received first. If you order garlic by September 1st, you will receive it before October 1st. As soon as your garlic arrives, please open the box and the bags inside and keep them open and out of direct sunlight until you are ready to plant.
Although we cannot guarantee how any cultivar will perform for you in your soil and microclimate, we can assure you that all of the garlic we sell is vigorous and disease free. If you are ever unhappy with the garlic you have received from us, simply return it to us intact within seven days for a full refund of the purchase price.
